The course is suitable for those seeking to work professionally in the wide area of social welfare, or progressing on to a relevant Higher Education programme. A minimum of 300 hours work experience is an essential component of the course.
Qualifications
Edexcel (BTEC) National Diploma in Health and Social Care.
Progression Routes
Students may progress onto Higher Education courses such as Diploma Nursing, BA Social Work, BSc Occupational Therapy, BA Psychology, or seek employment or further training (NVQs) in related areas.
