What will I need to follow the course?
You will need 6 GCSEs at grades A-C to study AS subjects. You will be expected to have achieved grade A or B in History at GCSE. The requirements for adults will be different.

What will I study?
The Tudors 1485 - 1603, Nazi Germany 1933 - 1945. Through your study of this subject you will further develop your communication and analytical skills and have opportunities to express your opinion and recognise prejudice. You will undertake research work. As part of the course, fieldwork trips will be arranged to provide invaluable information on the subject.

Will I have to sit any examinations?
There will be modular examinations throughout the course.

What will I have at the end of the course?
You will be awarded an AS certificate in History. You can study the subject for another year and gain an A level qualification. In the second year, you will study the following topics:
