2 Highers or NC Working with Communities. Mature Students with appropriate experience will be considered at interview. All applicants must be over 18 years of age.

DAY RELEASE
The HNC Working with Communities is suitable for people who work in the Community Learning and Development sector. The main aim is to provide an integrated course of practice and theory to equip candidates to work effectively in a range of community-based settings. This is a revised HNC in which students study a number of Core units: Accountability For And Management Of Resources, Social Science Approaches, Principles and Practice, Learning Approaches, Preparing to Work with Community Groups, Workplace Practice, Graded Unit along with a range of Options which includes: Adult Learning, Working with Young People, Capacity Building and Promoting Health.
