Holistic Therapies Diploma (Level 3)
Course Content
A one-year full time course including the major use of holistic therapies for use in general practice.
You will study:

• Aromatherapy;
• Reflexology;
• Swedish Massage;
• Anatomy and Physiology;
• Health and Safety/Legislation;
• Interpersonal Skills;
• Basic First Aid.

Additional units are:

• Stone Therapy;
• Diet and Nutrition.

Students will also achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Business Essentials for a Therapist.
Teaching/Assessment
The course covers a range of units along with written assignments. A variety of practical of practical assessment will be carried out. A portfolio of evidence will be produced.

Progression
Upon successful completion you can progress onto part time Post Graduate courses, specialising in other Holistic Therapies or full time HND Complementary Therapies. Employment: Opportunities can include health spas, salons, cruise liners, working abroad, etc.

Students will be required to purchase their own kit/equipment.
