Students need to have a commitment to finding employment within the motor vehicle industry.

What will I study?
Students will study the following units up to the standard required for Level 1:

· Engine Technology

· Chassis Technology

· Transmission Technology

· Electrical Technology

· Health and Safety-all aspects including the Law

· Key Skills

Entry Requirements:
Progression/Careers: Successful students may progress to the next level IMI
Technical Certificate (Level 2). Students also have the option of transferring to the IMI Vehicle Fitting Programme.
