This course is an ideal starting point for anyone seeking employment in the motor industry. Students are expected to provide personal protective equipment and basic writing materials. Details of such requirements will be given at interview. Also available on a College day release basis (seven hours).

Progression:
The natural progression route is to the IMI Level 2 Technical Certificate in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Apprenticeship and Advanced Apprenticeship schemes are available on a college day release basis for those who find employment.
