Entry Requirements
Applicants should have at least 4 GCSEs at Grade D-G, or above, or other relevant qualifications, or related work experience

Course Content
Units include: The UK Travel and Tourism Industry Exploring Customer Service in Travel and Tourism UK Travel and Tourism Destinations Exploring Marketing in Travel and Tourism

If you are accepted onto this course without a Grade C or above in Maths and/or English you will be required to complete the relevant Essential Skills qualification. This will be a compulsory part of your timetable.

Special Features
In addition to classroom teaching and in support of your studies, there will be visits to local facilities and events. Students will receive talks from guest speakers and industry experts and there may be an opportunity for students to achieve Airline and Airports Certificates.

All new students will partake in a four-day induction programme. This will include a two-day residential trip which aims to introduce students to the local tourism industry. There may be an opportunity for students to achieve a Welcome Host qualification.

Assessment Methods
Continuous assessment through assignments, projects and practical activities.
