Description:
This is a flexible, practical course and is ideal if you want to try out a range of modern creative subjects. You will study introductory modules that include an introduction to multimedia authoring, basic web design, 3D graphics and limited animation, electronic imaging and digital video among others. You will have access to industry standard Apple Mac Workstations and PCs plus a suite of software including Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash and Director MX, Apple DVD Studio Pro and Autodesk 3D Studio Max. In addition to this, you will also tackle the basics of animation techniques using traditional methods.

Progression:
National Diploma in Multimedia or employment in the multimedia industry.

Entry Requirements:
4 GCSE passes at grade C or above.
