Special Features
The delivery of the course takes place in a state-of-thearts drama studio and in a professional recording studio Education and training for current or potential performing arts employees in a practical and realistic way. Coursework plays a significant role in the overall assessment with students producing demo DVDs of their work. Students have the opportunity to concentrate on a few skills or take on a new skill.
Assessment Methods
Case studies, assignments and work-based assessments, along with projects, performance observation and time-constrained assessments. Assignments are designed using realistic scenarios which gives the student the opportunity to make maximum use of practical activities as part of the continuous assessment. Twice a year students will perform in a full-scale production as well as being part of a touring company to local schools.
