Duration & LocationDuration:
2 years full-time. Criminal Records Bureau Policy The majority of the Care and Early Years programmes require a number of hours on work placement, in order to achieve the full qualification. Candidates working with all client groups, whether children, the elderly or people with a disability will need to complete a Criminal Records Bureau check before they can go into the work setting. Candidates must be aware that if they have received a caution, reprimand or conviction it may prohibit them from enrolling on a Care and Early Years programme of study and gaining employment in a care / childcare setting. The procedure will be fully explained at interview and forms given to you for completion prior to the start of the programme. Due to the amount of time required to process the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) information we would like to receive applications and completed CRB forms by 1 August 2010. This will help ensure we have the information we need to arrange the suitable placements needed for this course.
