Course Summary:
The full-time Film and Television National Diploma at Nescot College is a 2-year course which will prepare you for future study or employment in media production and allied sectors. You will develop your understanding of the techniques, skills and processes through working on practical assignments. You will develop the important skills and knowledge needed in media production and will be encouraged to explore your particular interests and skills.

A BTEC National Diploma is equivalent to three A- Levels at Grades A E.

Course Details:
You will follow a broad range of assignments to develop your skills. As well as learning and developing skills in media production you will develop your Key Skills in the area of Communication (English). Examples of areas covered throughout the course include Understanding the film and TV Industries, Understanding video technology, Soundtrack production, Video for Interactive Media, Video editing techniques, Music video production and Film studies.

Career Progression:
This course will prepare you for employment in the media production and/or related sectors.

You may also progress to a Higher Diploma or degree course in a related discipline.
