Course Description
Modern Foreign Language courses will develop your skills for speaking, listening, reading and writing in the target language. As much of the lesson as possible will be conducted in the target language.

• Module 1: Listening, Reading and Writing Skills Media, Popular Culture, Healthy Living and Lifestyle, Family Relationships
• Module 2: Speaking Skills

A2 Level

• Module 3: Listening, Reading and Writing Skills Environment, The Multicultural Society, Contemporary Social Issues, Cultural Topic
• Module 4: Speaking Skills Method of Assessment Examination

Career Progression
AS to A2
A2 progression to other AS/A2 levels or Higher Education e.g. HNC/D or BA (Hons)
Employment requiring a Level 3 qualification
Linguists are able to chose a wide range of career options, some common ones being translators and teachers and also opportunities working within banking and exporting
