What will I learn?
You will study eight units that focus on aspects within the motor vehicle sector. These units are contribute to workplace good housekeeping, ensuring your own actions reduce risks to health and safety, maintain positive working relationships, carry out routine vehicle maintenance, remove and replace engine units and components, remove and replace auxiliary electrical units and components, remove and replace chassis units and components and conduct pre and post work vehicle inspections.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is by practical tasks/assessments and six online assessments. All of these are based on theory and tasks already completed in the workshop.

What can I do after the course?
You can progress to a level three motor vehicle qualification or onto the modern apprenticeship scheme via a full time employed position.
