About this course
You do need to be able to read music (one clef minimum) and play an instrument at around grade 4 standard, with the potential to reach grade 6 by the second year of the course. Lessons on your specialist instrument will be provided to support your studies.

This practical course is ideal for you if you enjoy all types of music, want to develop your own performance skills and are interested in music technology and the analysis of music from different periods.
What will I study?
You will develop your own performance skills as well as studying technical and theoretical aspects of music and music technology. Classes will take place in a specialist music suite with access to practice rooms, DJ room, performance space and recording studio.
