What will I study?
You will have the opportunity to study a range of music and to enjoy music. You will:

Will I have to sit any examinations?
You will be assessed by means of written and practical examinations at the end of the year, as well as portfolio work and the pieces you have composed.

What will I have at the end of the course?
You will have an AS Certificate in Music. You will also be able to study the subject for another year and gain an A Level certificate.

What next?
Having successfully completed the course you will be able to progress to an HND course or a University degree course in music and can look forward to a career with the media, as a professional musician, in education, publishing, music technology, the theatre (technical), etc.
