Course Description
A 2 year holistic course which will meet your academic and practical needs, enabling you to work in a variety of Health and Social Care Sectors. Highly qualified staff and tutorial support are provided to assist you in all areas of your study. Some of the units include:-Equality, Diversity and Rights in Health Care, Communication and Supportive Skills, Health Care Research, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Applied Science, Vocational Practice, Lifespan Development, Environmental Health and attendance in a variety of work placements one day per week.

Assessment Methods
Units are assessed using a variety of methods.

Progression
Higher Education degree level courses e.g. DipSW (CCETSW) Psychology/Child Psychology, Sociology, Nursing, Midwifery, Physiotherapy etc. The course also prepares learners for a range of careers in health and social care settings.
