Description:
A one year full time course, the National Certificate is aimed at providing students with an introductory level of knowledge in the basic principles of Building Services Engineering. The course focus is on the design, installation, maintenance and management of a building's services systems i.e. Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning.

Qualifications & Progression:
Upon successful completion the student receives the SQA award National Certificate in Building Services Engineering and allows progression to the Higher National Certificate in Building Services Engineering. Equally the NC meets the entry requirements for Degree programmes in Building Services Engineering and other engineering related degree programmes. Successful students can apply for Incorporate membership of CIBSE and register as an Engineering Technician (EngTech) with the Engineering Council.
