About this course

An English/ESOL qualification at Entry Level 3 (E3) in Speaking, Listening and Reading. You will also need to have good Numeracy skills. Selection for the course is based on an interview and a short test in English and Numeracy.

Course Description
This course leads to the NOCN Level 1 Diploma for Teaching Assistants. It is for adult students (19 and over) who have been learning English and who would like to gain some skills to help them get a job.

Core units include:

Study for a Skills for Life qualification at level 1
Develop your numeracy skills
Develop your IT skills
Learn the skills you need to be a teaching assistant

Find out how to support a teacher and children in a primary school classroom.
