The course aims to give the individuals an opportunity to renew their ACS Gas qualifications as it is illegal for them to work on gas installation, unless they hold valid and relevant ACS Gas qualifications that are renewable every 5 years. Suitable for: ACS Gas Training and Assessment Courses have been specifically designed for current GAS SAFE / CORGI Registered gas fitters and heating engineers that need to renew their ACS Gas qualifications.

About this course

This course is not for new entrants to the industry, or for candidates that have recently re-trained who are required to undertake Initial ACS Gas training and assessment. It s only open to current GAS SAFE Registered Installers. All candidates that attend the ACS Gas training and assessment course will be asked to prove current GAS SAFE Registration or ACS qualifications before the course starts.

ACS Gas Training & Assessment Courses

It is illegal to work on gas installations in the UK unless an individual operative is Gas Safe Registered (either individually or through a company) and holds valid and relevant ACS Gas qualifications that are renewable every 5 years.

Please note: Training is not a pre-requisite for assessments. ACS is certificated through Logic Certification.

ACS Gas training and assessment course incorporates:

  • CCN1 – Core Gas Safety
  • CKR1 – Cookers
  • HTR1 – Space heaters & gas fire
  • WAT1 – Water Heaters
  • CEN1 – Boiler installation and maintenance
  • CPA1 – Flue Gas Analysis

Additional information

Career opportunities:

These individuals who successfully complete this course can now continue to work on gas installations, in areas such as Existing Gas Safe / Corgi Gas Fitters, and Heating Engineers.
