These 1-year courses provide the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to work in the Hospitality & Catering Industry at a supervisory level.

Entry requirements
NVQ level 2 in subject related areas & relevant supportive work experience. Motivation, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. In addition you will be invited to attend an interview where your practical and theoretical knowledge will be discussed, you may be asked to take in a practical interview.

What will I study?
You will study both practical and theoretical subjects. This course is practically based, you will work within the Hospitality & Catering Industry as part of the course.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is on a continuous basis and you will need to compile a portfolio of your work throughout the course. The NVQ will be assessed in the college and work placement.

Career Opportunities & Progression
After successfully completing this programme you may be able to study your field in Higher Education or enter the industry in a junior supervisory role.
