Course Description
These programmes aim to develop the practical skills and knowledge necessary for those students who are currently employed or are training for employment within the four above trades of the construction industry.

The skills are set by the industry so learners acquire national standards of competence. These qualifications are also supplemented by the development of Key Skills throughout the programme.

What you will Study
The NVQ route for all the above trades is open to those students who are sponsored by their employers or through the Modern Apprenticeship offered in collaboration with Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). Each full time based programme of study is assessed through practical based learning.

On Completion
Students can progress onto the Advanced Construction Award.
