    Attendance Requirements:
    Full-time. Details regarding expected course timetable and attendance will be given at interview, if available.

    Entry Requirements:
    In addition to a suitable portfolio and an interest in media, applicants should have one of the following:

    Entry Process:
    All applicants will be invited to an interview with the tutor, allowing you to find out more and check that the course is the best option for you. Interviews normally take place between January and September of the year in which the course starts.

    Assessment:
    Continuous assessment with assignments throughout the course.

    Progression Routes:
    This diploma is accepted, by universities and colleges of art and design, as an entry qualification for a range of media-related degree or BTEC HND courses. Progression routes within West Kent College include the HNC/D in Photography followed by a BA Top-Up.

    Career Options:
    Employment opportunities, at junior level, exist in various media industries from television to publishing.
