Career Prospects and Progression
A Levels provide an excellent basis for progression to Higher level qualifications such as degrees or Higher National Diplomas. There are a number of careers directly related to Sociology including Social Worker, Probation Officer, Social Researcher, Community Work or Advisory Work. Other careers where the skills developed through Sociology might be useful would include Healthcare Careers, the Police Force or Public Sector Administration.
