· Skill Acquisition

· Sports Injuries
· Practical Sport Performance.
You may also have the opportunity to gain your National Pool Lifeguard qualification or First Aid at Work qualification, one day First Aid Appointed Person Cetificate or valuable coaching experience. Other day trips are offered throughout the year.

Continuous assessment throughout the course.

Level 2 Fitness Instructor Award, Sports Therapy Foundation Degree, Higher Education or employment.

Entry Requirements:
Four GCSEs at grade C or above, including English, maths or science and, ideally, PE or an Edexcel First Diploma or GNVQ Intermediate. Applications are also welcomed from mature students without the requisite qualifications, but with a successful reference from your previous educational/work establishment. All applicants must attend an interview, complete an initial assessment test, attend a taster session and complete a workbook prior to being offered a place on the course. A successful reference from a previous educational/work establishment is also required.
