Is this course for you
This course is designed for those who wish to pursue a career in the sports industry. The course combines both theory and practical sessions to develop your understanding of a range of sport related occupations. There are two pathways within the course of study. Within the FDC you will have the opportunity to gain top class coaching and playing opportunities in competitive British College fixtures and also gain your Level 1 or 2 FA Certificate in Coaching Football. Within the HRC Fitness Academy you have the opportunity to gain a range of recognised gym qualifications.

What will you study
First Diploma Course consists of 6 units taken from a range that includes: The Sports Industry * Preparation for Sport * Sport Psychology * The Body in Sport. Within the FDC: Level 1 and Level 2 FA Coaching Certificate. Within the Fitness Academy: CYQ Level 2 and Level 3 Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer.

How will you be assessed
Practical and written assignments and external tests.

What can you do after course
On successful completion of this course you could continue onto the BTEC National Diploma or begin a career within the sports industry.
