Course Content:
Higher qualifications have a common structure, typically consisting of a mixture of summative and formative assessment.
Learners on Higher courses are assessed internally using National Assessment Bank (NAB) materials. At the end of these courses learners sit a course award examination which serves to determine the final grade.
In order to obtain a Higher qualification, all the internal units for that qualification must be passed and a grade of A, B or C must be obtained in the course award examination.
