Course Description
This course is designed to prepare you for work as a Bricklayer. It has been specifically developed for delivery in the College workshops using simulated conditions. You will study all aspects of basic brickwork, including the construction of garden walls, and Health and Safety. You will learn how to use all the necessary tools of the trade but you will be required to supply your own safety footwear and gloves as well as any stationary you need.

Entry Requirements
You will need a pre-entry interview with the course tutor, and you will need to pass an entrance test. Entry to this course is based on a combination of previous experience and qualifications as well as an assessment interview with College staff. Further details are available on enquiry.

Assessment Methods
Three multiple choice external examinations and candidates demonstrating their knowledge and practical competence through in-college assessments.
