Welsh A Level (Level 3)
Course Content
This course places an emphasis on the speaking element of the language.
Studies will cover media, literature and grammar, Welsh poetry, set film, short stories and plays using the skills of listening, viewing, reading, writing and speaking.

Teaching/Assessment
Students engage in a wide range of activites related to Welsh Language study including: visit to TV studios; presentations by guest speakers, and a discussion of Welsh poetry and novels.
Students have access to the college's own Dyna Hwyl! CD rom.
Progression
Successful candidates can apply to 10 Higher Education establishments, which offer degrees in Welsh or through the medium of Welsh.
Many companies in Wales greatly value fluency in Welsh, when supported by an academic qualification.
