Normally students who are 16 - 19 years of age will require one of the following: A minimum of 5 GCSE`s at C or above An Intermediate GNVQ in a related subject at merit grade A BTEC First Diploma in a related subject at merit grade

Course Content

Career Prospects and Progression

The National Diploma qualification is a widely accepted qualification for university entrance to a degree course in all branches of Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Social Work,all professions allied to health and social care. Students wishing to enter Higher Education must achieve an overall grade of a triple Merit.

Modules

8 Core Units with the addition of a choice of 2 specific units relating to either a health or care pathway and a further 8 specialist units.

Method of Assessment

All units are assessed through assignments and an overall grade for the qualification is awarded. The grades awarded will range from PPP to DDD.
