Career Prospects and Progression

The experiences that students will have in the Welsh Bac will improve the skills and personal qualities which employers and higher education institutions are looking for, complementing subject knowledge which the options already provide. The WBQ is already recognised by UCAS with the accreditation of 120 points = A grade at A- Level. This is formal recognition by Higher Education institutions that the experiences gained are of value for studies at degree level and beyond.

Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Diploma.

Method of Assessment

There is no 'exam' as such. Compilation of a Portfolio of evidence and an Individual Investigation is assessed by the centre then externally moderated, by WJEC.
