Fundamentals of Process Safety - In-house training by PetroSkillsThis course can be conducted on site at your location exclusively for your staff. This course provides an overview of the fundamentals of process safety and identifies the essential systems and processes which require leadership and management throughout the lifecycle of high hazard facilities in the oil, gas and petrochemical sector. Delivering process safety is vital for high hazard installations and this course introduces the concepts, tools and techniques used to improve performance in process safety. The course establishes the concept that good process safety is also a requirement to achieve business results. It expands the concept with an understanding of the fundamental elements of process safety, reviewing case histories, working on exercises to discuss and practice techniques and, through an ongoing case study, it helps identify where all disciplines are involved through their day-to-day activities. Throughout the course, participants will be 'challenged' on how they view and understand process safety, and on how the apply risk based decision making. An individual action plan will be developed to provide guidance in applying the learnings of the course to the workplace.Find out more
