Who is this course for?
For those who have already passed NVQ in Gas Services Maintenance Level 2 and wish to progress.

What are the entry requirements?
You should have experience in the maintenance industry and have at least NVQ Level 2. You will be assessed on your English and Maths skills at interview.
After applying you will have an interview to determine which course is suitable for your needs and abilities.

• Minimum Literacy Level: Entry 2

You can read and understand short pieces of writing such as letters, messages, simple stories, timetables and adverts. You can write short pieces of writing - for example an email to a friend, a simple letter, a story or a message.
• Minimum Numeracy Level: Entry 2

You can work with numbers, symbols, and simple diagrams. You can add and subtract simple numbers and use simple fractions. You can use money, tell the time, measure things and know about squares, triangles and rectangles.

What qualification will I receive?
NVQ in Gas Services Maintenance - Level 3.

Where can it lead?
Completion of the N.V.Q. level 3 can lead to further education courses such as H.N.C. or H.N.D. also very good job prospects

What will I study?
The course is a combination of both practical and theory inputs.

How will I be taught?
Formal lessons, workshop practical sessions, on-site experiences. Externally verified

How will I be assessed?
Knowledge and practical assessments and assignments, on-site work experiences, photographs, signed witness statements.
