Course programme
Unit 1: Understanding and producing non-fiction texts
Unit 2: Speaking and Listening
Unit 3: Understanding and producing creative texts
Method of Study
One 3 hour taught session a week in the evening.
You will also be required to complete work at home independently and online using the college virtual learning platform. This additional work will be as a guide an additional 3 hours per week.
Additional information
You will complete a variety of pieces of homework that will support you in your development and progression towards achieving a good grade You will also complete 5 pieces of controlled assessment that will contribute 40% of your overall mark You will complete a set of exams at the end of the academic year which will contribute 60% of your overall mark.
