Gel Nail Extensions

This is a popular treatment in most beauty salons and another course which is also popular for students.

The course is held over three full days or eight evening classes. Assessment begins from day one and a further three hours is needed to complete final assessment in both practical and theory after home study and practice which is why all students are required to purchase a gel extension kit.

Week 1 the course begins with an introduction to nail anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client consultation, as well as learning tip application and blending.

Week 2 this covers basic product chemistry and practical exercises in gel application on tip and overlay.

Week 3 learning sculptured and overlay application on the natural nail, maintenance, removal and after care as well as promoting your business.
Learning days are spaced out to allow home study and practice between each lesson. Students are requested to have their own nails free of extensions because practical exercises will take place from week one.
