GEL NAILS
This course includes everything you need to know and create, in order to apply Gel Nail extensions. After learning the basics about the nail industry, your tools and your products, you will be shown the best techniques to apply and blend tips to your client's nails. You will learn how to apply the 'bonding', 'building' and 'finishing' layers of Gel to the nail. The Gel is like a thick polish and is applied to the nail with a brush. Application is quick and easy and only begins to set when placed in the UV light curing box. After a few minutes in the UV box the Gel hardens to form a shiny, strong and long lasting Gel Nail.
Gel nail extensions are the latest innovation in the world of professional nail technology. The Gel Nails course is the ideal first step course towards becoming a qualified Nail Technician. The course comes with Gel Nail Technology Home Study DVDs as your learning material. These DVD's have been expertly produced by industry professionals. Split into 3 parts, the DVD includes close-up video footage and clear diagrams to help you learn. One to one coaching over the phone or email is available to help you achieve your goals. Please note: Exceptions in cancellation policy apply. You will be required to fill out progress cards and question papers and post your work back to us for accreditation.
We look at each nail you've created, prepare a report for you on your work and issue a distinction, credit, pass or fail. Should you fail, we will annotate each problem and suggest a way you can improve. Resubmission of work for re-assessment is free, and most students who have failed the first time pass on the second attempt. Upon completion you will receive a handsome certificate and can obtain your liability insurance and start work immediately. Our certification is nationally recognised within the nail industry. You will receive a Professional Nail Technician certificate. This certification will allow you to obtain your insurance and start your nail business immediately.
