As we wish to make the process of
learning both efficient and enjoyable, we use the communicative
method in our work. This approach enables students to communicate
efficiently in different life situations.
-We give our students the
opportunity to improve all-round ability in English by focusing on
speaking, listening, writing and reading skills. All classes are designed
to provide systematic development of all skills.
- The focus of the
programme is on practical communication skills, with
emphasis on speaking, listening and pronunciation. Teachers encourage
students to speak English from the very early stage (Beginners), creating
a favourable friendly atmosphere in the classroom and establishing a
direct contact with each student. All students are involved in the process
of studying as teachers offer a wide range of activities, encouraging
students to practice in different modes: pair work, discussions, group
work , etc.
-- Much attention is paid to grammar and vocabulary
development. So, there is a balance between accuracy and fluency. New
vocabulary, colloquial English and
grammar are introduced through a
variety of stimulating and enjoyable activities.
- As it is
essential that the students acquired not only linguistic but also cultural
competence while living in London we try to help them by organising
excursions and trips to the most well-known places and sights.
Students
are also given some assignments for homework to have more
opportunities for practice, especially in writing.
There are 7-10
students in a class. We always bear in mind individual interests and
abilities of our students as well as their cognitive styles.
We
use the most efficient and modern text-books as well as
other teaching materials, such as video, DVD, newspapers,
magazines, maps, pictures and so on, students receive photocopies of their
lesson material.
All our teachers have appropriate qualifications:
CELTA, DELTA or Master's Degree. They are enthusiastic about their work
and have high professional standards.
Our dedicated team strive
to meet and maintain quality standards and are constantly working to
develop our services.
