General English Plus One-to-One TOEIC Preparation

The TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) exam is an English language proficiency test which measures the everyday English skills of people working in an international environment.

Course Contents

A combination of 15 lessons of General English, 5 lessons of Grammar & Writing or Business English plus 2 one-to-one lessons per week in which you can focus on exam practice techniques with your teacher.

09:15-12:05: We work with a coursebook during the first three lessons of the day enabling you to improve the four main skills - speaking, listening, reading and writing. As well as these four main skills we will also work on other key areas to help develop your fluency and accuracy - pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, idioms.

The 5 afternoon group lessons are one of the two following options:

* 14:15-16:35, Monday & Tuesday: Grammar & Writing which will help you improve your grammatical accuracy and develop writing skills, or
* 14:15-16:35, Wednesday & Thursday: Business English designed to widen your knowledge of specific vocabulary and improve communication skills in a work context.

One-to-one lessons: The 2 one-to-one lessons usually take place in the afternoon. Individual lessons are all 60 minutes long and the time can be negotiated between student and teacher.
