Course programme

German Stage 1

This course is for students with no knowledge of German. It covers everyday language, both spoken and written. Elements of basic grammar will also be taught. Students will learn to conduct simple conversations in everyday situations in a German speaking environment.

  • Classes Monday or Tuesday evenings, 7.30 - 9.30 from 3rd October 2011

Funding and fees   If you plan to study credit courses totalling 30 credits or more in the year 2015-16, you may be eligible to apply for the SAAS Part-time Fee Grant (PTFG) which can contribute towards course fees. Students in receipt of certain state benefits or those who are earning £25,000 or less per year, including any private and state pensions, may be eligible. Please note if you are applying for a SAAS PTFG you will need to enrol in person.
