Course Summary:
This is an Entry 3 vocational programme designed to help you to develop the skills and attitudes to succeed.
This study programme will enable you to work towards a BTEC Entry Level 3 Certificate in Vocational Studies, Functional Skills Maths and Functional Skills English as well as undertaking work placement and enrichment activities. Successful completion of this then gives you the opportunity to progress to Level 1 or beyond.
Entry requirements
The course is aimed at those who have grades F-G at GCSE - or no GCSEs - and would not at this stage be able to achieve at Level 1. Their initial assessment is likely to be at E1/E2 in English and Maths.

Course Content: BTEC Entry Level 3 Certificate in Vocational Studies Functional Skills Maths Functional Skills English Enrichment Work Placement How will I be assessed? You will produce a portfolio of evidence and will be supported to work towards numeracy, literacy and personal targets which will be reviewed every half term. You will also sit a Functional English and Maths controlled assessment.
