You will be introduced to the processes of creating decorative pieces of glass using kiln-forming techniques. You will have the opportunity to:
Learn how to cut glass
Use colouring agents such as metal oxides, enamels and frits
Learn the processes of slumping glass into or over a mould
Learn about the firing procedures and annealing cycles
How to use the sand blaster

By the end of the course you will have a range of glassware pieces from decorative wall panels and small pendants to fruit bowls and coasters.
