Great course content but when it came to making a vase it all became rushed which meant our tutor, Ben, did quite a bit of the blowing/making to speed things up. His instructions weren't very clear and we had to ask several times how to hold the tools. A chart of numbered glass colours would have been very useful as it was difficult to tell how the powder looked when melted and whether or not it was opaque. The tutors didn't seem to know so it was pot luck. Tom and Dan, especially Dan, were very good and a couple of us wished we had been in their groups. All in all a good day but could have been better. They should have an evaluation form at the end of each course.

Myself and my husband attended the glassblowing weekend course last week, our tutor James was excellent, very patient and encouraging. My husband brought the course as a gift, and I was really unsure about it at first, but I had a wonderful time, met interesting people and actually managed to make some beautiful glass pieces, a bowl, vase and a paperweight. We are both planning to go back and do another course with them.
