Glass, Stones and Precious Metal Clay - Jewellery Class

This fun day of experimenting with adding both glass and stones to your PMC work. It is suitable for anyone who has attended the beginners class or has had some previous experience with PMC or Art Clay. In the class we look at different ways of adding glass and colourful stones to PMC and make some lovely pieces using intermediate techniques. There is lots of freedom in terms of what you make in the class and most students leave with 2-3 lovely finished pieces and lots of knowledge about working with glass and stones so that you can continue to use in your work at home.

In this class we usually make a piece of jewellery which combines metal clay and dichroic glass, which gives some beautiful effects and opens up a whole new way of making lovely jewellery.

We then look at various different ways of adding and setting stones, and how that affects the overall look of the piece
