"Entry Requirements This course may be suitable for students who have studied a wide range of engineering or business related subjects to an appropriate academic level. Students will ideally be expected to have studied some logistics at an academic institution and/or have worked in the logistics sector. Students are also required to have good English Language Skills (IELTS 6.5 or higher).

This course has been designed to provide an Honours degree education through the development of relevant knowledge, understanding, cognitive and practical skills in the broad subject area of Global Logistics.
Global Logistics BSc is a level three final year (top up) direct entry course running full-time for one year.
WHY CHOOSE THIS COURSE?
There is an emphasis on the problem solving aspect of international logistics and the management of the global supply chain. Students take part in group or individual projects that synthesise requirements and opportunities in order to recommend appropriate logistics strategy. There are some excellent employment opportunities in the logistics sector in the UK and overseas; our logistics graduates have enjoyed some excellent employment success.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?There is some flexibility for students to tailor the course to suit their personal requirements. There are mandatory modules consisting of: Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Inventory and Distribution Management and Project management. Students then select one of the following modules to study: Lean Manufacturing, Humanitarian Engineering, or Business Simulation (all subject to availability). There are then a further two options available: option 1 is a 20 credit individual project and Advanced Business English for a further 20 credits; option 2* is a 30 credit individual project and a 10 credit Add+Vantage module selected from the wide range available at level 3.
The course includes automatic acceptance and membership of the Coventry University Global Leaders’ Programme which will further enhance the opportunity to study related topics.
