Course content:
You will study:

• Radio Communications
• Terrestrial and satellite
• Aerials
• Propagation
• Circuit knowledge of all solas equipment
• Practical fault location

Assessment procedure:
Examination is by an oral exam which covers relevant theory; and a practical exam on a range of relevant equipment.

Entry requirements:
You should have a knowledge of electronics/electrical engineering. Candidates must also be in possession of the Principles certificate before commencing the course. This covers the underpinning knowledge in basic electronic and electrical principles a maintainer must apply to understand circuitry.
