Course Content & Certificate
For all staff and volunteers who require introductory or refresher training in the key points in infection control.

Content: what is infection - common causes of infection and how it spreads -preventative measures and breaking the cycle of infection (hygiene and clean environments)
Successful completion of the course gives a Training for Care Certificate of
Attendance.

Tutors and Teaching
Muriel Hood RGN. Muriel has over 20 years experience in nursing, working in both social care and health care and with a wide range of clients including older people and children with additional needs. She has a keen interest in skills development and is responsible for care assistant training in her current position.
Teaching is participative, with plenty of opportunities to discuss course related issues arising from your work.
