I originally thought I wouldn't find much benefits from this course; however, this course is excellent. I learnt not only theoretical knowledge & on-hand techniques but also the analytics's thinking. The course was a very good introduction to Google Adwords. The content was outstanding. I would not only recommend it but suggest that it be required for anyone especially employees required to work with Google Analytics. I have used GA for years on my own and I learned a ton and now wish I would have take this course years ago. The instructor, Mike Trimmer was fantastic. I am surely coming back for more courses from iVantage.

Overall it was a great course. Even though I had used the tool for two months, I was already familiar with the interface and had many items set up already. But, the background information and the specific details helped ensure that I was applying those extensions, tools correctly. It was good validation that I was running things correctly, but it also helped me learn why I needed to run those tools. AdWords Editor could be a great tool for me.

About this course
You will end the five days having accomplished a mini-MBA in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager from basic reporting to advanced analysis, through to configuration and implementation. You will be confident using, analysing, deploying and configuring Google Analytics with or without Google Tag Manager in simple or complex environments and be able to put all the features of Google Analytics to use should you need to.
Anyone with a need to analyse and make sense of web analytics data including audience, acquisition, behaviour and conversion metrics. Anyone with a need to understand, use or manage marketing tags via a tag management system.
For Google Analytics training, attendees will require on-line administration access to an active (recording some data) Google Analytics account and, if you are using Google AdWords, administrative access to a Google AdWords account for the duration of the training. If you do not have access to an active Google Analytics account, we can provide you with user access to a test account for the duration of the course. However, this is not as good as working with your own data!

- Session 3 - More listeners, variables and tracking interactions
