2. Course description The course is designed for students with an interest in contemporary politics political ideas and the ways in which countries are governed. At AS students will develop a broad knowledge and understanding of the political system within the UK and in particular look at how and why people participate in politics covering elections and different voting systems pressure groups the role of Parliament and the British Constitution.In A2 the course looks at US Government and Politics and Political Ideology.

3. Entry requirements Five or more GCSEs at grade C or above including English and Maths. You also need to have achieved at least one GCSE grade B in a non-science subject. Also subject to QCA score.
