After an exciting election that was extremely hard to call in 2015 there has been an increasing interest in this subject. The policy decisions made by our government affect many aspects of your life including you planning to come to college and this course will help you gain an understanding of government and politics in practice in the UK and USA.
It is an academic subject that would complement many of the A Levels on offer but particularly Law, History, Psychology, Sociology and English
This programme can be combined with other AS/A Levels, or with a vocational programme such as a Diploma. You will achieve the AQA AS/A Level in History.
In the first and second year you will take two exam papers. The papers from each year will account for 50% of your overall grade achieved at the end of the A Level.
