Units of study information for this degree

Study plan

Candidates for the Graduate Diploma in Computing complete 60 credit points (cp) made up of 4 Foundation Units of study in the areas such as algorithms, computer and network organisation, object-oriented design, software development in java, network and distributed systems, and digital media fundamentals.

The remaining 6 units of study are selected from a range of advanced IT and IT management specialist units.

Classes are generally held in the evening between 6pm and 9pm to accommodate professionals who are employed during the day.


Progression rules

Candidates for the Graduate Diploma in Computing complete 60 credit points (cp) made up of a maximum of 24 credit points of foundation units of study and a minimum of 36 credit points of Information Technology or Information Technology Management Specialist units of study.
