The Graduate Diploma in Project Management is a streamlined program based on the Master of Project Management and can be undertaken full time in one year, or the part time equivalent.It will complement your on-the-job training, and provide you with the skills you need to manage complex projects. The Graduate Diploma in Project Management will also equip you with the fundamental methodologies, modelling and analysis skills for the design and implementation of projects across a wide range of fields such as infrastructure, mining, manufacturing, IT, finance, law and various types of consultancy projects.The Graduate Diploma in Project Management is an excellent option for students seeking a shorter period of study than that required for the Master’s program, but still need a solid grounding in their chosen field.Successful completion of eight units of study at a credit average will allow you to articulate your studies to the Master of Project Management.

Units of study information for Graduate Diploma in Project Management

Study plan

Candidates for the Graduate Diploma in Project Management complete 48 credit points (cp) made up of foundational and specialist units of study, subject to meeting prior learning requirements and timetabling.

Candidates may choose to transfer to the Master of Project Management to pursue further study, subject to meeting progression requirements.

Classes are generally held in the evening between 6pm and 9pm to accommodate professionals who are employed during the day with the option to undertake units of study online and block mode.


Graduate opportunities

Successful completion of eight units of study at a credit average will allow you to articulate your studies to the Master of Project Management.
